Silky French Chocolate Pie


This is the perfect French dessert dish for you to make right in time for the
holiday season. It is the perfect way to give your friends and family a sweet
start to the season.
Makes: 8 servings
Total Prep Time: 2 hours
Ingredients:
½ cup of butter, soft
¾ cup of white sugar
2, 1 ounce square of unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 tsp. of pure vanilla

2 eggs, beaten
1, 8 inch pastry shell, prebaked and cooled
Directions:
1. In a bowl, add in the butter. Beat with an electric mixer until
creamy in consistency.
2. Add in the white sugar and continue to beat until light in color.
3. Add in the cool chocolate, pure vanilla and beaten eggs. Continue
to beat until smooth in consistency.
4. Pour the chocolate filling into the pastry shell.
5. Cover and place into the fridge to chill for 2 hours before serving.
