This is the perfect French dish to make just in time for the holiday season. It
is so tasty, the entire family will be begging you for the recipe.
Makes: 6 servings
Total Prep Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
3 Tbsp. of butter, melted
3 Tbsp. of cane sugar
1 puff pastry, thawed
3 apples, peeled and sliced
Dash of sea salt
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place a sheet of parchment paper
onto a baking sheet. Grease with half of the melted butter. Sprinkle
half of the cane sugar over the butter.
2. Place the puff pastry on a flat surface that has been dusted with
flour. Roll until 10 inches in diameter. Transfer onto the baking
sheet.
3. Set the apple slices into an overlapping pattern over the top of the
puff pastry.
4. Brush the remaining melted butter over the apples. Season with a
dash of salt.
5. Place into the oven to bake for 30 minutes or until soft.
6. Increase the oven to broil. Sprinkle the remaining cane sugar over
the top. Broil for 2 minutes or until caramelized.
7. Remove and cool for 5 minutes before serving.
